When I Started Personal Training, September 2008.
How I Started: Before I had two babies, I was about 130 lbs... After the stress I put on my body I got up to a whopping 253 lbs. Today at age 30, I am making my way back to feeling younger and stronger by creating a healthy lifestyle. I have lost about 105 lbs so far about 5 years ago starting October 2007. I got tremendous success getting off those 105 lbs, but I know that I can take it all the way by using personal training techniques, participating in fitness bootcamps and continuing an elite diet plan. I love working out now more than ever. I have now made a lifestyle out of this and it has unexpectedly become one of the most important things in my life. I now feel more confident about my body image. It has helped me tremendously on all other aspects of my life as well and my passion for fitness has made me want to make a career out of it. I am a NASM certified personal trainer and I have also obtained a kinesiology degree and graduated with high honors. I currently teach muay thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu at Peak Performance MMA. I also work at the Health Club of America as a personal trainer. Working in such different environments has given me the opportunity to train a wide variety of different kinds of clients with various needs and goals. From competitive fighters and athletes to your average Joe who is just looking to lose a few pounds, I have trained them all. I find my career very satisfying because I love to watch people obtain confidence and happiness through fitness. I can't wait to help you reach your goals!

Most of my adult life I had been overweight. I attempted several different fad diets.
 At first I would stick with it, I’d lose weight, and then I’d gain it all back again, it was a vicious cycle.
...In early July 2012, I saw an add for I Get Fit! Bootcamp. I decided that it was now or never.
I was 27 years old, 240 lbs and it was time for a change. It turned out to be the best decision I ever made.
I started off going 3 days a week and the quickly turned into 5. When the weather started to change I made the choice to train indoors for the winter...I was on a mission and nothing was going to stop me. 
...During the winter, I trained 6 days a week and gained a new sense of confidence.
I felt amazing! That’s when I decided, I wanted to make a difference in others lives like Raven did in mine.
I have created a healthy lifestyle. I have lost about 70 lbs, about 20% in body fat, and several inches starting in July-August of 2012. I know now that I can it take it to the next level by using the knowledge I have gained thru the NASM training course and my own personal experiences at Get Fit! Bootcamp. I have truly found my passion, and I look forward to sharing it with others.

BIO
I have been teaching water fitness for 14 years and AEA certified.  I am currently doing water fitness at NRH fitness Center and Keller Natatorium and have done water fitness at the YMCA, 24 Hour Fitness, Carroll ISD, TCC and my home.  
 
Each class is unique and tailored to the level for everyone in the class with classes in both shallow water and deep water. During classes we sometimes use water exercising equipment and I will provide the instructions for the proper way to utilize the water equipment to prevent injury.
 
 
Water fitness is a “cool” way to work out and is a great form of exercise for strength and flexibility and also a great way to cross train.  A water fitness workout is a low impact form of exercise.  With water fitness you can take your fitness workout to a whole new level and “JUST ADD WATER”.
